The central image in this window is a scroll of the Torah. Torah is a Hebrew word meaning teaching or law. It is most central and most important document of Judaism. It is also called the Law of Moses (Tarat Moshe) and primarily refers to the first five books of the Torah, which are as follows: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. In Deuteronomy (6: 4-5) is the great faith/prayer (the Shema) of Israel - "Hear o Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord. Therefore you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Also included in the Torah (Deuteronomy 5: 6-21) are the Ten Commandments, the first three dealing with the Love of God and the rest dealing with love of neighbor.
